She sounded like someone trying to encourage a child to be brave by weaponizing empathy (something she most likely can not feel). Chad and Lori ante both damaged people but of the two Lori seems more actionable. I think Chad was a tool she used to validate killing. Love your podcasts!!

Kylie has lied to police and those lies protected her mother. So I guess we can speculate on why she lied but that she protects her mother is factual. We can also only guess as to that Kylie stayed with her mom’s family after they moved to protect JJ. I suspect she stayed to protect her mother. When Lori called Chad from jail you thought she sounded as though she was regressing to childlike behaviors. I think she sounded like someone trying to be encouraging.

I disagree that Chad was the impetus to kill the kids. I think Lori is the exception that proves the rule, you know so if 99% of these killers are men Lori is the 1% that makes that statistic true. Lori’s life is much more chaotic and violent than Chad’s before they meet, despite Chad saying he killed over a hundred bees that time, which is not believable at all.

Such “evil” especially given Tylee’s death and treatment in death, makes me wonder if there’s been more murder, yet undiscovered.

Brilliantly wrapped up. Thank you both so much for sharing your insights.

Oh, how karma is having her way with Chad. I would argue that a jail, and certainly a prison is pretty high on the “disgusting” meter.

You guy's need more followers. I watch all the Daybell..Vallow episodes in one day. I have some of the same traits or mental issues that Lori has. I don't want to kill anybody but you explained the problem. Thank you I wish you were my mental health professional.
