We examine the research on filicide and psychopathy to provide some insight into these thorny questions in addition to bringing in a famous child murderer from the past, Diane Downs, to assist in our analysis. Before finishing dinner, we explore the roles of courage and fearlessness in homicide. What does fearlessness have to do with murder? And what does real courage look like and how can we attain it?

I wondered if the kids were killed also to spite Kay bc they loved JJ so much and Charles had left Kay the £1m instead of Lori. Lori knew this would devastate the Grandparents esp. over JJ?

Cher56 -- Is that a LDS thing? It never even occurred to me. What did occur is the conclusion that she woke up from sleeping pills & got out of the ducttape, which is why there was a gunshot. Then since it was a shallow grave, they must have planned to move the bodies, and were in the process of rendering them unidentifiable first. I think they weren't done with the bodies. I think it could be a belief that zombies can "raise" a dead body...
