I really appreciate your literary knowledge and the parallels that you draw between classic stories, crime and the human condition. This podcast is incredibly insightful. I feel much like I did after a captivating lecture in college.

I had not heard the part of that recording in which Lori claims her brother and HUSBAND were trying to kill her for her 2 million dollar life insurance. But, to me, that is evidence of the way her mind works. If, under pressure, that is the first scenario that comes to her mind, it makes me believe that Charles’s 2 million dollar policy was her motive for having him killed (or killing him herself, even).
